About Joshua J. Spiegel:
Mr. Spiegel is a co-founder of the firm and serves as counsel to a diverse corporate and private clientele on matters related to general corporate, commercial business, employment and real estate law, including the structuring, negotiation, and execution of deals, and the drafting of agreements. Mr. Spiegel has extensive transactional experience in the areas of entity formation and governance, shareholder rights, employment matters, technology and content licensing, business development, partnerships and joint ventures, resolving business disputes, and commercial and residential real estate transactions. Mr. Spiegel represents businesses in industries including media (television, film, music, and publishing), technology and software, real estate development and investment, construction, retail/e-commerce, fashion/textile and business consulting.
Prior to founding the firm, Mr. Spiegel held director-level positions at The Princeton Review, Inc., a leading international education publishing company, and Cybersettle, Inc., a premier online dispute resolution company, where he focused primarily on complex business transactions, government contracting, and operational initiatives. Additionally, Mr. Spiegel engaged in the practice of law as both a sole practitioner and an associate of The Law Offices of Fredrick Harrison Kaplan, LLP. Mr. Spiegel received his JD from Brooklyn Law School and his B.S. degree (magna cum laude) from New York University where he graduated as a Founders Day Scholar. Mr. Spiegel is admitted to practice law in the State of New York.
In addition to practicing law, Mr. Spiegel is involved in the New York City music scene. Mr. Spiegel serves as a mentor to emerging artists and writers in addition to being a published songwriter.
